Okay, so since I haven't posted anything in a while i figured it was time.
Where to begin. Lets just start with Gallup: After a relly slow week on the bike following my wreck i was a bit nervous to go out and race. thankfully for me, I had no other Junior competition. This in fact was a very good thing as i rode slower than SKinnyfast racing downhill on a cross bike with a gimp shoulder. For those that know the handling skills of the old Bill, you will know just how bad this is: I was riding like i was when i first met the DANimal. For those that don't know how bad that is let me explain. It is much like No Dirt Tony riding a road bike in the Bosque (skinnyfast, you know how bad that is). Anyway, i was riding terribly ended up finishing like tenth in the pro/expert overall and a full twenty minutes behind Damian. Needless to say I was happy to take the money and head on back to the shitbox, oh sorry i mean Albuquerque. I am getting ready for the 3 day 4 stage race in FLagstaff this weekend. There is an uphill prologue to start, so that should hopefully put me in the leaders jersey for the first road race, at which point i can drop out and call a weekend. those LaLuz power climbs should come in handy for the Prologue. it is my race for sure so we will see.

You're going to love that climb... It's a blast of a half mile. I'll be in Flagstaff this weekend too, but I'll be taking in the scenery around Mt. Elden. If the crit on Sunday's not enough for you, let me know and we'll hook up for a ride. My plan is a distance ride (40 - 50 miles) doing the Peaks Loop (around the mountains).
