okay, finally i am writing another blog. I have found that it is really not easy keeping up with these things. I was out of town all last week and find it hard to write at night now as i finally have a girlfriend (although i don't know how much longer that will last). Throw some riding in there and work 2 days a week and it leaves me with no time that is empty enough to write an online journal entry. Thankfully school is out now so i got a little extra time, but who am i fooling, i really just have better things to do with my time. Anyway...
After a week off the bike i hit the foothills on the trusty FS bike on Monday. After reading Matt's blog about the tram tower climb i decided i would go give it a try since my legs would be fresh (read stale). After about a 15 minute warmup i hit the climb and made it past the first wall, so i knew i could make it atleast to the last switchback. i tried my best to recover whenever possible and get ready for the wall at the end. Just like the last time i attempted this climb i fell over 30 yards form the tower. i rolled back down slightly disappointed and just did a foothills loop. ended up being about 1:45 time. After loosening up the legs on Monday i decided to do the crits on Tuesday. Jumped into the C race first got pushed into somebody right at the beginning and ended up shreading my bar tape and running over somebody that had fallen on the ground. I stayed up right thanks to the mountain biking skills. i did like 3 laps in the c's and then dropped out. Same thing with the b's minus the wreck at the beginning. After a rapid search for some race wheels for the A race i pulled together some mismatched wheels for two different people and lined up on the line with the big dogs. I ended up finishing with the pack in the A's, my best a race finish yet. I even spent some time on the front. of course that time on the fornt was not at the right time and i ended up hurting my teammates more than helping them, but i guess i just got to learn the ropes and maybe try to get on the same page as the rest of the team for next time. I should at least get into the same book. Hopefully i can make something happen for next week. thats it for now.

Wow, you are indeed alive.

Yeah the blue tower climb is tough. But I've never fallen, I usually just spin out and drop a foot.

Cool about the girlfriend.
